Chassis Focus - Tamiya TT-01 Type E | ETRL

The platform that all of the Euro Truck Racing League vehicles use is Tamiya's TT-01 Type E. Even though this chassis has very little tunability, it's 4WD system is excellent and can handle the power of both the Spec and Super Truck classes.

One of the other benefits of the TT-01 Type E (or TT-01E) is the price. All three currently available trucks can be had for about $200 - that includes the rolling chassis, TBLE-02S Electronic Speed Control (#45057), RS-540 Torque-Tuned Motor (#54358), wheels and tires and complete body set, ready for you to paint and sticker up. All that's needed to complete the truck is a radio system, servo and battery!

While the Spec Truck class can only add bearings (like the Tamiya TT01 Type E Ball Bearing Set (#54025) or Fast Eddy Bearings TT-01E Ceramic Sealed Bearing Kit (#TFE4417)), the Super Truck has a wider range of hop up and tuning parts available to use. Optional gearing, shocks, turnbuckles and aluminum goodies can be added to up the performance of the Euro Truck. In addition, the Super Truck is allowed to run any ROAR-legal 21.5T motor - more power, more speed, more fun!
